The company South Coast Charter Angling is based in Youghal Co. Cork, Ireland and is owned by Skipper Martin Colfer. Martin has been commercially fishing for the last 15 years. He has a vast knowledge of reefs, wrecks, tide, what is in season, good fishing grounds off the Youghal coastline etc.
South Coast Charter Angling has been in operation since 2004 and each year sees a substantial growth in customer demand. Anglers come from far and near to fish this section of the Cork Coast.
The boat we operate is new for 2008 and is a catamaran. The twin engines makes it much faster to get to fishing destinations and back to base. This means you spend more time angling and less time commuting. The twin hull allows for more deck space, this improves comfort for anglers and sightseers. Catamarans have also been proven to be more comfortable and stable in rougher seas which is an added bonus for beginner anglers.
The boat has the convenience of inside seating with tea / coffee making facilities. We also have a toilet on board. The safety of our anglers and sightseers is of paramount importance to us.
